Turkey's new queen was selected with Miss Turkey 2005 Star Beauty Competition...Miss Turkey 2005, organized by STAR TV, was held in Istanbul, Turkey on 16 April 2005 with an outstanding ceremony at Lütfi Kırdar Congress Center. Hande Subaşı has been selected as Miss Turkey 2005.

First runner up was Dilek Aksoy, and other winners as follows; second runner up Merve Özkaran, third runner up Şebnem Azade.

The winners will represent Turkey in Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss Europe and Miss International competitions.

Famous Turkish musicians Burhan Öcal and Işın Karaca have shown an excellent performance during the night in front of over 2000 guests. Some of the jury members for Miss Turkey 2005 selection were; Cihan Ünal, Arzum Onan, Hıncal Uluç, Abdullah Oğuz, Prof. Dr. Onur Erol, and Çağla Kubat.
